The agriculture of tomorrow is based on a move back. The goal is to develop more sustainable and ethical agriculture. Thus initiatives which advocate solidarity, the social and the sustainable are emerging.
For a more ethical and less polluting agriculture, more and more consulting firms are helping farmers in ecological transitions. Indeed, it is important to support agriculture in 6 areas: the preservation of the territory, sustainable production, the development of new technologies, the valorisation of biomass, healthy and sustainable food, and the development of new uses and services. NGOs are also there to challenge and prevent the agriculture and fishing of tomorrow.
Also, having foodstuffs (meat, fish, cereals or fruits and vegetables etc.) that are more respectful for the environment seems essential for the agriculture of tomorrow. Many organizations and cities thus advocate the short circuit and organic markets.
Finally, many companies and farmers have also understood that it is important to cultivate more plants that require less energy or water and which are more resistant to climate change (hemp for example).
